Each holiday season, Cascadia Daily News launches its "Give the Gift of Local News" campaign, encouraging readers to gift subscriptions to the newspaper and news website. The campaign is promoted through house advertisements featured in the newspaper, on the Cascadia Daily News website, and across its social media platforms.

The objective was to align the theme with Cascadia Daily News' branding while maintaining a general holiday focus, avoiding specific associations with Christmas or Hanukkah.
